A more useful planning library
Added six field guides with synthetic examples, formulas, decision checks and source notes.
Added the planning notebook for solar, battery backup and EV charging scenarios, with local saving and CSV export.
Connected each existing calculator to its relevant explanation and limitations.
Added a guide index, issue-report worksheet and an explicit editorial method.
Added a dispatch guard that keeps power and energy units compatible.
Refreshed sitemap entries for changed and new pages.
Known limitations
Solar resource, tariff and equipment defaults are assumptions; no live data feed refreshes them.
The inherited BESS studio’s default topology exceeds its default PCS maximum voltage. Its warning must be resolved for a real design.
Dispatch load examples are synthetic; imported CSV chronology and source data require user validation.
The notebook uses constant efficiencies and simplified energy balances; it does not model an actual product’s operating curve.
Saved notebook scenarios remain on the current browser and origin. They do not sync across devices.
What to report
Broken references, unexpected outputs and unclear assumptions are useful issues. Include the exact inputs so the calculation can be reproduced. Use the issue-report worksheet.
